Business Name: Eightfig Multi Service Private Limited
Last Updated: 24 September 2026
1. Introduction
This Payment & Refund Policy explains the payment, cancellation, and refund terms applicable to services provided by Eightfig Multi Service Private Limited (“Eightfig,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Eightfig primarily provides digital and technology services, including website development, e-commerce development, SEO, digital marketing, advertising management, social media marketing, software development, automation, and related professional services.
By purchasing or engaging our services, you agree to the applicable payment and refund terms communicated in your quotation, proposal, invoice, package, or service agreement.
2. Service Fees
Our service fees depend on the type, scope, complexity, and duration of the project.
Before starting a project, we may provide the client with a quotation, proposal, package, or invoice specifying:
- Total service fees
- Scope of work
- Payment schedule
- Project milestones
- Included services
- Applicable taxes or charges
- Third-party costs, where applicable
- Other project-specific terms
The final price may differ if the client requests additional services or changes to the originally agreed scope.
3. Advance Payment
Depending on the project, Eightfig may require an advance payment before work begins.
The advance payment may be used to reserve project resources and begin design, development, planning, setup, or other agreed work.
The applicable advance amount and payment schedule will be communicated to the client before the project begins.
4. Milestone and Partial Payments
For larger or long-term projects, payments may be divided into milestones.
A milestone may include activities such as:
- Project planning
- Design
- Website development
- E-commerce setup
- Content integration
- Testing
- Final delivery
- Deployment
The client is responsible for making milestone payments according to the agreed schedule.
Work may be paused if an agreed payment remains outstanding.
5. Digital Marketing and Advertising Payments
For digital marketing services, professional service fees and advertising budgets may be charged separately.
For example, the client may be required to pay:
Eightfig service fee + advertising/platform budget
The advertising budget paid to Google, Meta, or another advertising platform is not the same as Eightfig’s professional service fee.
Advertising budgets are generally subject to the policies and billing procedures of the relevant advertising platform.
6. Third-Party Costs
Unless specifically included in the quotation, third-party costs are generally separate from Eightfig’s service charges.
These may include:
- Domain registration and renewal
- Web hosting
- Premium WordPress themes
- Premium plugins
- Shopify apps or subscriptions
- Software subscriptions
- Payment gateway charges
- Advertising platform charges
- Stock images, fonts, or other licensed assets
- API or third-party service charges
Third-party fees may be non-refundable according to the relevant provider’s own policies.
7. Payment Methods
Payments may be accepted through payment methods made available by Eightfig, which may include:
- UPI
- Bank transfer
- Payment gateway
- Other approved digital payment methods
The available payment methods may vary depending on the service or project.
8. Payment Confirmation
A payment will be considered received once the payment has been successfully credited or confirmed through the applicable payment method.
Clients should retain payment receipts, transaction references, or other payment confirmations for their records.
9. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client requests cancellation before Eightfig has started work, the refund, if applicable, will be determined according to the quotation, proposal, package, or written agreement applicable to the service.
Any third-party costs already incurred on behalf of the client may not be refundable.
10. Cancellation After Work Has Started
Once work has started, Eightfig may have incurred professional time, resources, software costs, planning costs, design work, development work, or other project expenses.
If a client cancels a project after work has started, any refund will be determined based on:
- Work already completed
- Time and resources already used
- Third-party costs already incurred
- The agreed payment and cancellation terms
- The stage of the project at the time of cancellation
Amounts relating to work already completed or costs already incurred may not be refundable, subject to applicable law and the applicable agreement.
11. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the service and the specific terms agreed with the client.
Because our services involve professional time and customized work, refunds are not automatically available after work has been performed.
Where a refund is approved, the refundable amount will be determined after considering the work completed, costs incurred, and applicable terms.
Refunds, where approved, will generally be processed using the original payment method or another reasonable method agreed between Eightfig and the client.
12. Non-Refundable Third-Party Charges
Payments made to third-party providers on behalf of a client may not be refundable where the third-party provider’s own policy does not permit a refund.
Examples may include:
- Domain registration fees
- Hosting charges
- Premium software licenses
- Plugin or theme licenses
- Advertising spend
- Third-party subscriptions
- Payment gateway charges
- Other external service charges
13. Client Delays
Project timelines may be affected if the client delays:
- Providing content
- Providing images or business information
- Providing required account access
- Providing approvals
- Providing feedback
- Making scheduled payments
Such delays generally do not create an automatic right to a refund.
Eightfig may adjust the project timeline where delays are caused by the client or third-party providers.
14. Additional Work
If a client requests work outside the originally agreed scope, additional charges may apply.
Additional work may include:
- New pages
- New features
- Additional design changes
- Additional integrations
- Additional functionality
- Major content changes
- Additional marketing campaigns
- Additional revisions
Additional charges will be communicated to the client before the additional work is undertaken where reasonably practicable.
15. Service Packages
Where Eightfig offers fixed-price service packages, the services included in the package will be based on the package description and applicable terms.
Services not specifically included in the package may be charged separately.
The package price does not automatically include third-party expenses unless expressly stated.
16. Website Development Refunds
Website development involves customized design, development, configuration, content integration, testing, and other professional work.
Therefore, once substantial project work has been completed, refunds may be limited to the extent permitted by the applicable agreement and law.
Any specific refund conditions applicable to a website project will be stated in the quotation, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
17. SEO and Digital Marketing Refunds
SEO and digital marketing services involve ongoing professional work and depend on external factors such as search engine algorithms, competition, advertising platforms, market conditions, and customer behavior.
Payment for completed or ongoing marketing services is generally for the professional services performed and is not automatically refundable merely because a particular business result was not achieved.
Eightfig does not guarantee specific rankings, leads, sales, revenue, traffic, or advertising returns unless expressly agreed in writing.
18. Failed or Duplicate Payments
If a payment is deducted from the client’s account but is not successfully received by Eightfig, the client should contact us and provide the relevant transaction information.
If a duplicate payment is successfully received, we will review the transaction and, where appropriate, process the excess amount according to the applicable payment method and terms.
Any bank or payment-processing charges may be handled according to the applicable provider’s rules.
19. Refund Processing Time
Where a refund has been approved, we will initiate the refund within a reasonable period after approval.
The actual time for the funds to appear in the client’s account may depend on the bank, payment gateway, card issuer, or other payment service provider.
20. Disputes Regarding Payments
If you believe that a payment, invoice, or refund has been incorrectly handled, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with:
- Your name
- Invoice or project reference, if available
- Payment date
- Payment amount
- Transaction reference, if available
- Details of the issue
We will review the matter and communicate the outcome.
21. Changes to This Policy
Eightfig may update this Payment & Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, payment methods, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Project-specific payment and refund terms already agreed in writing will continue to be governed by the applicable agreement, subject to applicable law.
